Theo Pourchaire has confirmed he will not continue with Peugeot in the FIA World Endurance Championship next year, as he focuses on his Opel Formula E commitments. The Frenchman had been linked with an exit after being announced as an Opel driver in its first Formula E season.

Pourchaire said he would like to return to endurance racing one day, particularly at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. "I would like to continue in the World Endurance Championship one day, we'll see if it happens," he said. He added that he could combine Formula E and the WEC in future.

His departure means half of this year's Peugeot line-up will not continue in the WEC next season. Stoffel Vandoorne has already left the team, while Malthe Jakobsen's final outing for Peugeot is at Monza. Alex Quinn and Robert Shwartzman have been announced for 2027.
