Source: Sportscar365 · · added 58 minutes ago

Nick Cassidy set the fastest time in the third and final Free Practice session ahead of qualifying for the FIA World Endurance Championship season-ending 6 Hours of Monza. Driving the No. 93 Peugeot 9X8, the New Zealander posted a lap of 1:42.706 in the late stages of the 60-minute session, as lap times fell.

Cassidy was 0.040 seconds quicker than Victor Martins in the No. 36 Alpine A424, with Robert Kubica third in the No. 83 AF Corse Ferrari 499P. Sheldon van der Linde and Antonio Fuoco completed the Hypercar top five. There were no red flags, but the No. 51 Ferrari completed only seven laps after a brake-by-wire and ECU-related issue.

In LMGT3, Alessio Rovera led for Ferrari with a 1:56.069 in the No. 21 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo, 0.282 seconds ahead of Maxime Martin in the No. 61 Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo. Qualifying and Hyperpole begin at 2:20 p.m. CET.
