Sky Sports adds Alexa Rendell as F1 multimedia journalist ahead of Brazil GP

Sky Sports has signed Alexa Rendell as an F1 multimedia journalist, and she will make her debut at this weekend's Sao Paulo Grand Prix in Brazil. Sky says she will report from across the paddock and contribute to its live coverage, interviewing drivers, team principals and other figures in the sport.

Rendell has previously presented for Formula E, the World Endurance Championship, Extreme Endurance and F1 Academy. She said Formula 1 has always been her first love and that Sky has been part of her journey since she was a teenager.

Billy McGinty, Director of F1 at Sky Sports, said Rendell has an instinct for connecting with audiences. Sky Sports agreed a new five-year deal earlier this year to remain the home of F1 in the UK until 2034.
