Rafael Camara to make F1 debut in Sao Paulo Grand Prix first practice

Brazilian Rafael Camara will take part in Free Practice 1 at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix as he prepares for his Formula 1 debut. Camara, who is set to race for Haas in 2027, replaces Esteban Ocon, who will not return to the team after a falling-out during the Mexico City weekend that saw him stood down.

Elsewhere in the rookie line-up, Dino Beganovic will drive Charles Leclerc's Ferrari SF-26 after Leclerc travelled to Brazil late following the birth of his first child. At Cadillac, Colton Herta is set to take his sixth FP1 of the season, and 24 laps of Interlagos should earn him the point he needs for his superlicence.

Reigning F2 champion Leonardo Fornaroli, Luke Browning, Freddie Slater and Gabriele Mini are also taking part, each swapping cars with their team-mates for the weekend.
