Beganovic replaces Leclerc in Ferrari's FP1 for Brazilian Grand Prix
Dino Beganovic will take part in his third FP1 session of the 2026 Formula 1 season, replacing Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari SF-26 for the opening practice of the Brazilian Grand Prix. The change follows Haas's decision to give Rafael Câmara his full F1 debut in place of Esteban Ocon, who was sacked by the team, which had originally planned for Câmara to make his practice debut.
Ferrari is completing its third of four mandatory young driver FP1 outings, and each race driver must give up a seat for two sessions across the season. Beganovic said it was an honour to learn from Lewis Hamilton and Leclerc, describing Hamilton as highly motivated despite his achievements. Ferrari announced the change on social media.
The switch also gives Leclerc more time at home in Monaco with his wife Alexandra and their newborn daughter Bianca, who was born on Tuesday.
