How Brembo supplies brakes to all 11 F1 teams in 2026

Brembo supplies brake calipers to all 11 Formula 1 teams in 2026 and provides complete braking systems to selected teams. The company says its relationships with the sport's drivers, including Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher, were built over 50 years in the championship.

Brembo's F1 engineer Andrea Dellavedova credited the company's product quality and reliability, as well as its close customer assistance. He said Brembo continually seeks feedback from teams and tailors its work to each customer, with cooling requirements varying between teams. Calipers, discs and pads are adapted to match each car's design.

Brembo places two engineers inside each F1 team at every grand prix weekend to answer questions and monitor disc temperatures and energies, which Dellavedova said can affect performance if they fall outside set limits.
