Dick Johnson Racing retains Rylan Gray for 2027

Source: Speedcafe · · added 1 hour ago

Dick Johnson Racing has confirmed that 19-year-old Rylan Gray will remain with the team in 2027. Gray joined the squad this season after winning the 2025 Super2 Series with Tickford Racing, but has had a challenging rookie campaign in the Supercars Championship, sitting 19th in the standings with two rounds remaining.

The team has nonetheless expressed satisfaction with his progress, noting six top 10 race results this season. Last year's announcement of Gray's signing had only specified 2026, though a multi-season arrangement had always been expected. The confirmation was posted to the team's social media accounts, with a message referring to Gray and Brodie Kostecki in Car 17 and Car 38 respectively.

Kostecki is already contracted to Dick Johnson Racing through 2030, having signed a multi-year extension 12 months ago.
