Source: RacingNews365 · · added 1 hour ago

Rain could fall during qualifying for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, with the forecast pointing to wet conditions at the Interlagos circuit on Saturday. The final practice session remained dry, with Max Verstappen fastest ahead of Kimi Antonelli.

As FP3 drew to a close, the weather began to deteriorate, and weather radar showed rain moving towards the track ahead of the start of qualifying. Forecasters indicated there would be little let-up if it arrives, although conditions can change quickly in Sao Paulo.

Temperatures have also dropped significantly since the start of practice, with the air temperature at around 22°C. Drivers will face an added challenge in qualifying as the threat of rain reaches its highest point of the day so far.
