Norris unsure whether McLaren's Brazil upgrades will ease handling problems
Lando Norris is unsure whether McLaren's upgrades for this weekend's Sao Paulo Grand Prix will improve the handling of the car, which he has described as "horrible". McLaren have not been in contention for victory in recent races, and Norris attributes this to rivals Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari developing their cars faster.
McLaren have brought a new front wing, rear wing and floor components to Brazil as they aim to return to the front and hold on to third place in the Constructors' Championship. Norris said the upgrades are "just to add performance" and that they may even make the car harder to drive. He said he gives his feedback to the engineers, who turn it into lap time.
Norris won back-to-back races in Budapest and Zandvoort earlier in the season and is sixth in the Drivers' Championship. He said the car has improved with each upgrade, but that rivals have developed more since Baku in September.
