Brundle warns Hamilton and Leclerc clash at Ferrari will happen again after Mexico
Martin Brundle has said another on-track incident between Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc is likely after their latest dispute at the Mexico Grand Prix. Leclerc attacked Hamilton at Turn 4 on the opening lap for the lead and cut the track, earning a five-second time penalty. Max Verstappen slipped between the two Ferraris, so Leclerc could not simply return the place to his team-mate, and Verstappen went on to win ahead of Hamilton.
Hamilton said after the race that he was angry at Ferrari losing what he saw as an easy one-two, while team boss Fred Vasseur said he would speak to both drivers. Brundle argued the squabbling cost Ferrari, and suggested that despite any talks, the rivalry would flare again, with the next stop being Brazil.
