Kellymoss returns to IMSA with Braun and Clark in 2027

Source: Sportscar365 · · added 32 minutes ago

Kellymoss will return to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2027 with a full-season GTD class entry. Colin Braun and Michael Clark, who raced together for the team in GT World Challenge America this year, will drive the Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo, with Kyle Marcelli joining for the Michelin Endurance Cup races. It is the team's first full-time WeatherTech Championship effort since 2023.

Braun moves from GTP to GTD following Acura's withdrawal from top-class prototype competition. Clark, an FIA Bronze-rated driver, will make his series debut after a GT3 debut in GT World Challenge America last year. Team principal Andy Kilcoyne said the programme is focused on competing at the front.

Kellymoss's IMSA return is not expected to affect its GT World Challenge America efforts, where it fielded three Porsches this season, and it is likely to run at least two entries in that series in 2027.
