Stroll and Alonso both retire early at Mexico City Grand Prix
Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin both failed to make a meaningful impact at the Mexico City Grand Prix, with each retiring from the race after suffering engine failures.
Stroll's afternoon ended almost as soon as the lights went out, when he pulled into the pitlane after a swift engine failure. Alonso's power unit also failed, just a handful of laps into the Grand Prix.
Both drivers therefore completed too few laps for meaningful ratings, with Alonso finishing 21st and Stroll 22nd.
