Permane hints at Racing Bulls solution for Lawson and Tsolov

Racing Bulls team boss Alan Permane has declined to say what the team plans for 2027, but said "all solutions are possible" as Red Bull considers Liam Lawson, Arvid Lindblad and Nikola Tsolov. Racing Bulls is the only team yet to confirm either of its drivers for next season.

Permane said Red Bull is taking its time to avoid repeating past mistakes, and that drivers had not always been given enough time to settle. He said the team was "trying to apply a little bit of science" and that he understood the frustration of drivers and others waiting for an announcement.

When asked whether Lawson and Lindblad could stay for 2027 with Tsolov confirmed for 2028, Permane declined to comment. He added that experience also matters alongside bringing young talent through, and that Lawson and Lindblad's performances were not the problem.
