Vasseur says Ferrari has moved on after Brazil talks
Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur says the team has turned the page on its Mexico Grand Prix controversy after an hour-long meeting with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc in Brazil. The talks took place on Thursday evening, with Vasseur saying the aim was to clarify both sides' positions and stress that Ferrari comes first.
Vasseur acknowledged that frustration had built up as the two drivers have increasingly been fighting each other at the front. He said he is not asking them to be best friends, only to act and work as professionals. Leclerc, who arrived late in Brazil following the birth of his daughter Bianca, said the discussions helped clear up lingering frustration and that he felt everything had now been resolved.
Reaction from former drivers was mixed. Rubens Barrichello stressed that harmony is needed to win, while Timo Glock criticised Vasseur for not setting clearer rules before the Mexico race.
