Liverpool owner FSG in talks over majority stake in Cadillac F1 team
Fenway Sports Group, the owner of Liverpool, has held talks about buying a majority stake in the Cadillac Formula One team, a deal reported to be worth more than £2bn.
Cadillac entered F1 this year as a joint venture between General Motors and TWG Global, the investment group led by Mark Walter. Walter has been selling off sporting assets, including a controlling interest in the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and a 13% stake in Chelsea this summer, and the group is also looking to sell the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks.
