Kravitz questions Racing Bulls over Lawson's future
Sky Sports pit lane reporter Ted Kravitz has questioned Racing Bulls over speculation that Liam Lawson's seat is at risk, with Red Bull reportedly considering promoting Formula 2 driver Nikola Tsolov.
Lawson qualified fifth-fastest in wet conditions at Interlagos, and grid penalties for George Russell and Charles Leclerc mean he will start the São Paulo Grand Prix from third, matching his best grid position from Azerbaijan in 2025. Kravitz said the team "can't sack him now", before conceding they might.
Kravitz also raised the matter directly with team principal Alan Permane in the paddock, suggesting Tsolov could be given another year to develop as a reserve. Lawson is ninth in the Drivers' standings, 41 points ahead of Alpine's Pierre Gasly.
