Krack says Aston Martin motivation intact despite Honda reliability woes

Aston Martin team boss Mike Krack has insisted the team's motivation has not collapsed, despite a difficult end to the 2026 season and early retirements for Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll in Mexico. Krack acknowledged that maintaining morale is becoming harder, noting that the car has improved through upgrades but reliability problems have persisted.

Krack said the team is not giving up ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix, where he noted Aston Martin has performed well in the past. He also said that Alonso does not need motivating, pointing to the two-time champion's commitment, which Alonso himself stressed after Mexico, despite being unable to complete enough laps.
