CFMoto unveils V4SR-RR Superbike as track debut timing remains unclear

Source: GPone · · added 1 hour ago

CFMoto has unveiled its first Superbike, the V4SR-RR, at EICMA. The bike uses an in-house 997 cc V4 engine said to produce more than 210 hp and reach 15,000 rpm, with a claimed top speed beyond 315 km/h and a dry weight of approximately 180 kg. Active aerodynamic flaps and fully adjustable Öhlins suspension are also included.

Matteo Ferrari is currently the sole test rider, leading development with the test team in Modena while continuing his WorldSSP commitments with WRP Ducati and CFMoto. The full-scale Superbike project, targeted for 2028, is being managed by Aspar Martinez.

Industry sources suggest a WorldSBK debut before September 2027 is very unlikely, although an initial appearance when the championship resumes after the summer break in September cannot be ruled out.
