Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA wins Monza 6 Hours
Sebastien Bourdais said there was "no better way" to end his time with Cadillac than a first overall FIA World Endurance Championship win in the season-ending 6 Hours of Monza. Bourdais teamed with Jack Aitken and Earl Bamber to give Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA its first win since Sao Paulo 2025, keeping the British squad's record of winning in every WEC season it has contested since 2014.
Aitken took the No. 38 Cadillac V-Series.R into the lead and held the position before handing over to Bamber, with Bourdais taking the middle stint. Bamber's closing stint became an energy-saving contest, with the No. 36 Signatech Alpine A424 of Victor Martins closing in at stages as both cars managed fuel.
Bourdais described the result as bittersweet, as it was his last race with JOTA and the end of his chapter with Cadillac, and said the win followed close calls over the previous two seasons.
