Kristensson to contest Gippsland and Adelaide rallies

Swedish world rally champion Tom Kristensson will return to Australia for two events in November, with Andreas Johansson again acting as his co-driver. Kristensson, who has competed in the Western Australian leg of the championship for the past two seasons, will drive a Skoda Fabia R5 at the Middle of Everywhere Gippsland Rally from 20 to 22 November, the final round of the Australian Rally Championship, with Maximum Motorsport.

He will then take part in a demonstration at the inaugural Australian Rally Championship Festival at the bp Adelaide Grand Final from 26 to 29 November, the Supercars season finale. For Adelaide he will drive Scott Pedder's Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 for the Pedders Rally Team, as Pedder is only available on the Thursday of the event.

Kristensson is the second high-profile international name confirmed for the festival, following Lia Block's entry.
