Kyle Larson clinches 2026 NASCAR Cup title at Homestead

Kyle Larson has clinched the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series championship by the end of Stage 1 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Tyler Reddick won the opening stage, while Larson finished fourth and scored seven stage points. He was running third and battling title rival Christopher Bell for that position when the stage-ending caution was prompted by Chase Briscoe's engine failure.

Bell's third-place finish in the stage meant Larson's points total was enough to secure the title.
