Speed Legends exhibition at EICMA brings 32 MotoGP machines together in Milan
The 83rd edition of EICMA, running until 8 November at Fiera Milano RHO, has opened a special exhibition dedicated to the history of the premier class of MotoGP. Titled Speed Legends, it brings together 32 motorcycles in a single display for the first time in Italy, ranging from Leslie Graham's 1949 AJS Porcupine, the first 500cc world champion, to the contemporary Aprilia RS-GP26.
Created in collaboration with MotoGP, under the patronage of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) and with the support of ICE-Italian Trade Agency, the display spans more than seventy years of competition and technical research. It features machines from riders including Mike Hailwood, Giacomo Agostini, Barry Sheene, Mick Doohan, Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner.
The exhibition concludes with the Aprilia RS-GP26, chosen to represent the state of the art in current Grand Prix machinery. It comes before the move to 850cc bikes and new technical regulations in 2027.
