Rossi leads all-time MotoGP winners as Marquez closes in

Valentino Rossi holds the all-time premier class record with 89 victories, taking his first in 2000 and his last in 2017. Marc Marquez is now second on the list, having reached that position during the 2025 season.

Of the top 10 riders with the most premier class wins, only Marquez and his Ducati team-mate Pecco Bagnaia remain active. The series dates back to 1949, when Harold Daniell won the British Grand Prix, then run as the Isle of Man Senior TT, as the first premier class winner.
