Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup expands to eight rounds and 16 races for 2027
Harley-Davidson has unveiled its plans for the 2027 season of the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup Tuned by Dynojet, announced at EICMA 2026. Following Archie McDonald's victory in the inaugural championship, the single-make series will expand to eight rounds and 16 races, with three new circuits added to the calendar.
The season opens at the MotoGP United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, from April 23 to 25, preceded by an official preseason test on April 17 and 18. The new rounds are the French Grand Prix at Le Mans, the Catalan Grand Prix at Barcelona, and the Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimão, which will host the season finale. The Italian, Dutch, Austrian and Aragon Grands Prix complete the calendar.
Jeffrey Schuessler, Director of Global Racing Programs at Harley-Davidson, said total attendance on race weekends is expected to rise by nearly 60%, from over 800,000 spectators in 2026 to around 1.3 million in 2027. Development of the race bikes will continue in collaboration with teams and technical partners.
