Verstappen to start 21st in Brazil after engine penalty

Max Verstappen ended his qualifying session after Q1 at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, having already learned he would start from the back of the grid because of an engine-related grid penalty.

In the FIA's indicative grid, Verstappen is listed in 21st place, behind Lewis Hamilton and just ahead of Sergio Perez. The four-time world champion spent the break watching Premier League football.
