Racing Bulls has re-signed team principal Alan Permane on a new multi-year deal, running until 2031, while its 2027 driver line-up remains unconfirmed. Permane joined Benetton as an electronics engineer in 1989 and later became racing director at Racing Bulls in 2024 before taking over as team principal when Laurent Mekies moved to Red Bull.

Under Permane, the team scored a podium at the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix with Isack Hadjar. In 2026 it sits as the best of the rest in the constructors' championship, and a fifth-place finish would be its best constructors' championship position to date. Red Bull CEO Oliver Mintzlaff praised Permane's experience and leadership, alongside Co-CEO Commercial Peter Bayer.

The team has three options for two seats, with Arvid Lindblad, Liam Lawson and Formula 2 frontrunner Nikola Tsolov under consideration. Lindblad appears the most likely to stay after an impressive debut season.
