FIA investigates Leclerc and Lawson clash at Brazilian GP
The FIA stewards will investigate an incident between Charles Leclerc and Liam Lawson during the Brazilian Grand Prix. The pair made contact as they exited Juncao in the closing laps, after the rain returned, and Leclerc took the position from Lawson through the Senna S. The stewards confirmed the incident will be reviewed after the race.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen described the contact as racing, but the stewards want a closer look. Lawson finished eighth, between the two Ferraris, while Mercedes clinched the Constructors' Championship with a comfortable margin over Ferrari.
Lawson's future remains uncertain, with the Racing Bulls driver battling Arvid Lindblad and Nikola Tsolov for the team's two seats for 2027.
