Colapinto muses on racing in F1 and F2 in same weekend
Alpine driver Franco Colapinto has suggested it would be fun to compete in Formula 2 and Formula 1 at the same time, pointing to Jim Clark, who won both championships in 1965.
Colapinto raised the idea in a press conference when discussing Formula 2 points leader Rafael Camara, who is making his grand prix debut for Haas this weekend. Camara has not said whether he will return to F2 afterwards.
Formula 2 regulations, however, bar any driver nominated by a competitor in the Formula One World Championship from taking part in the F2 championship in the same competition, so Camara cannot race for both Haas and Invicta.
