Antonelli fastest in Brazilian GP practice as Leclerc incident investigated

Source: PlanetF1 · · added 25 minutes ago

Kimi Antonelli was fastest in the second practice session for the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos, finishing a quarter of a second ahead of Lando Norris. Max Verstappen completed the top three, with the session showing three different manufacturers in the leading positions.

Charles Leclerc, returning to action after becoming a father during the gap between Mexico City and Sao Paulo, was squeezed by debuting Haas driver Rafael Camara while on a soft-tyre lap. The incident has been placed under post-session investigation by the stewards. Camara was promoted to the seat ahead of schedule following the sacking of Esteban Ocon.

With some drizzle around the circuit and more precipitation forecast for the weekend, the long-run data will be important, and a wet qualifying or race is considered a strong possibility.
