Toyota to run Celica and Yaris body shapes in 2027 WRC with split driver line-up

Toyota has explained its plan to run two different Rally1 models in the 2027 World Rally Championship. The reigning champions will field two separate teams from their six-driver line-up.

For next season, Toyota has homologated GR Celica and GR Yaris body shapes built to the new technical regulations. The company has stressed that, underneath the bodies, the two cars share the same underlying package.
