Rovanpera and Tanak return to Toyota for WRC 2027 with six-car line-up

Kalle Rovanpera and Ott Tanak will rejoin the World Rally Championship next year as part of a six-car Toyota line-up. The manufacturer plans to run two teams with different Rally1 car models.

Toyota has announced that its 2027 effort will be split into two teams, competing with all-new GR Celica and GR Yaris machinery built to the new technical regulations. The line-up will include at least three world championship contenders.
