Cadillac JOTA adds da Costa and Taylor for 2027 WEC season
JOTA team principal Dieter Gass says the signings of Antonio Felix da Costa and Ricky Taylor to the Cadillac driver lineup are expected to strengthen the team's prospects for the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship. The pair will replace Alex Lynn and Sebastien Bourdais in the two Cadillac V-Series.R entries next year.
Da Costa returns to JOTA Sport, which he last drove for in 2023 when it ran a privately entered Porsche 963 after Alpine withdrew. Taylor will run full-time programmes in both the WEC and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, alongside JOTA driver Jack Aitken, and made a cameo outing for the team at this year's Lone Star Le Mans round.
Gass said running in both championships helps drivers adapt to the car and improves information exchange with the team, and that the field in the Hypercar class is very tight. The crews for the two JOTA Cadillacs have yet to be confirmed.
