Tardozzi Praises Marc Marquez's Mindset Ahead of Qatar MotoGP

Ducati Team Manager Davide Tardozzi has praised Marc Marquez's comeback in the 2026 MotoGP championship, saying the Catalan rider has the best mindset of any rider he knows. Marquez trailed the championship leader by 102 points after Mugello, but has since overturned that deficit over a dozen races.

Following his victory in Malaysia, Marquez heads to the Qatar Grand Prix with a 44-point lead over Jorge Martin and 67 points ahead of Marco Bezzecchi. A win in Lusail could give him the chance to mathematically clinch his tenth world title.

Tardozzi said the team had never stopped believing, and that the Mugello defeat had become a source of strength. He also said the organisers had assured the team that the Qatar event is safe, despite concerns linked to the situation in the Middle East.
