Pedro Acosta set to switch to Monster Energy sponsorship with Ducati

Pedro Acosta's move from KTM to Ducati is expected to bring a change of sponsor, as he leaves Red Bull for Monster Energy. Acosta has worn Red Bull colours since the Rookies Cup in 2019, and Ducati already has an agreement with Monster.

Social media posts from Monster suggest Acosta will join its stable from 2027. Team-mate Marc Marquez avoided a direct energy-drink swap by replacing Red Bull with Estrella Galicia. Monster is also set to lose Fabio Quartararo to Red Bull following the Frenchman's Honda deal.

Acosta won the Moto3 title in 2021 and the Moto2 crown in 2023 before joining MotoGP the following year. He took his first premier-class Grand Prix victory at the Red Bull Ring this season, and his initial Ducati contract covers the first two years of the new 850cc/Pirelli era.
