Marc Marquez jokes about Ai Ogura's Sprint aggression at Sepang

Footage released by Ducati's Inside Ducati YouTube series shows Marc Marquez joking with his team about Ai Ogura's aggressive riding during the Malaysian MotoGP Sprint at Sepang. Marquez finished second in the Sprint after battling Ogura several times, including a close pass at turn five that effectively ended the fight.

Marquez also admitted a mistake at the start, hitting the limiter when shifting gears, which gave Ogura an opening into the first turn. Earlier in qualifying he had three slides at turns 13 and 14, which he attributed to gear selection errors.

Marquez went on to win Sunday's race, his first Sepang victory since 2019 and third in the premier class overall, setting up a title opportunity at Qatar this weekend.
