Vasseur to hold Ferrari drivers' meeting in Brazil after Mexico clash
Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur plans to sit down with Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton together on Friday in Brazil to discuss their costly opening-lap battle in Mexico. The pair fought hard at the start, allowing Max Verstappen to take a win Ferrari had believed was likely. Vasseur had earlier spoken to each driver individually, but the joint meeting was delayed because Leclerc missed Thursday's media day after the birth of his child.
Hamilton, who faced the media alone in Brazil, repeated his criticism that Leclerc races him harder than other team-mates, pointing to an incident at the Singapore start. He said he would not change his outspoken approach and insisted he would "never be silenced", arguing that his comments are not calculated given the physical demands of racing.
