Liberty Media reports record third-quarter F1 revenue

Source: PlanetF1 · · added 1 hour ago

Formula One Management generated more than $1.1 billion for Liberty Media in the third quarter of 2026, the first time quarterly revenue has topped $1 billion. The figure was up $246 million on the same period last year, when it stood at $869 million.

Teams received $422 million over the quarter, up from $341 million a year earlier, taking total prize money payments to $1.51 billion so far. Liberty is on course to top $4 billion for the full year, although the threat of cancelled Qatar and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix could reduce that figure.

Stefano Domenicali, Formula 1 President and CEO, said every race this season has sold out, with more than half setting attendance records. He also pointed to a ten-year agreement to return to Africa with a future race in Rwanda.
