Lindblad and Bortoleto handed grid penalties for Sao Paulo GP

Racing Bulls driver Arvid Lindblad has received a 10-place grid penalty for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix after a new internal combustion engine and turbocharger were fitted to his car, both outside his legal allocation. He will start 18th as a result.

Audi's Gabriel Bortoleto has also been handed a 10-place grid penalty, dropping him to 19th. His car received a new energy store and control electronics unit, both of which are also outside his legal allocation.

The penalties further shake up an already unusual grid at Interlagos, with Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez also facing major grid drops following extensive power unit component changes.
