Leclerc and Hamilton handed Brazilian GP grid penalties
Both Ferrari drivers, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, will take 10-place grid penalties at the Brazilian Grand Prix after each taking a fifth internal combustion engine of the year. Confirmation came during third practice, having initially appeared Ferrari might wait until Las Vegas before Leclerc took his new ICE.
Max Verstappen will also drop to the back of the grid after taking a new ICE, exhaust, turbocharger and power unit ancillary component within his allowance. Cadillac's Sergio Perez receives a 30-place penalty for a new ICE, turbocharger and MGU-K.
George Russell, who confirmed a five-place penalty ahead of the weekend, joins them in taking grid penalties in Brazil.
