Hadjar cautious on Red Bull's improved race starts
Isack Hadjar has urged caution over whether Red Bull can repeat the strong starts it produced at Mexico City, as the team heads to Interlagos still seeking consistency off the line. Clutch delivery had repeatedly cost both Hadjar and Max Verstappen positions at the first corner this season, with Hadjar dropping from third on the grid in Austin.
No hardware fix was introduced before Mexico, yet launches improved markedly there, and Verstappen converted fifth on the grid into a win. Hadjar said he would not claim the problem is solved, noting that the team had worked hard on it since Austin and now needed to understand why it worked and maintain it.
Hadjar also said his own results have not matched the car's potential, with mechanical and electronic problems disrupting his Sundays. He added that he believes his pace has been decent and that he expects his form to improve.
