F1 revenue stabilises after cancelled 2026 grands prix
Formula 1's revenue has stabilised in the third quarter of 2026, according to parent company Liberty Media's earnings report. Revenue fell 38% over the three months to June 30 compared with 2025, owing to a calendar shuffle and the cancelled Bahrain and Saudi Arabian rounds. Over the nine months to September 30, revenue stood at $2.496 billion, down just $2 million year on year despite two fewer races.
Revenue for the three months to September 30 rose 28% to $1.115 billion, as one more race was held than in 2025. Operating income rose from $433 million to $450 million over the first nine months, while adjusted OIBDA fell 5% to $649 million. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali said the 2026 calendar is expected to span 23 races, with the Qatar and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix still planned despite Middle East conflict.
Domenicali said every race this season has sold out, with more than half setting attendance records, and that sponsorship and hospitality revenue have grown.
