Progressive to sponsor Denny Hamlin for 24 races in 2027

Progressive Insurance will return as a primary sponsor for Denny Hamlin and the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing team in 2027, a season expected to be Hamlin's final full-time NASCAR Cup Series campaign. The extension expands Progressive's involvement to 24 races, beginning with the season-opening Daytona 500 on 21 February.

Hamlin said the partnership had been a perfect pairing on and off the track. Mari Pumarejo, CMO of Progressive, said the relationship had become part of each other's teams and that Hamlin is part of the Progressive family as the two companies head into their third year together.

The sponsorship schedule runs from Daytona through to Homestead-Miami Speedway in November. Hamlin is heading into this weekend's season finale at Homestead-Miami as a long shot for his first Cup title, but remains mathematically alive in the championship hunt.
