Honeycutt wins NASCAR Truck title race at Homestead

Kaden Honeycutt took the win in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday night, holding off Christian Eckes in the closing laps. Driving for TRICON Garage, Honeycutt secured the series championship with his fifth win of the season.

Eckes finished second, ahead of Daniel Hemric, Ty Majeski and Stewart Friesen. Layne Riggs, the other championship contender, finished 32nd, six laps down, after a number of cut tyres during the evening.
