Tardozzi says nothing is impossible with Marc Marquez

Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi says the team is not taking anything for granted as Marc Marquez bids to wrap up the 2026 MotoGP title at the Qatar Grand Prix on Sunday. Marquez heads into the round with a 44-point lead over Jorge Martin and a 67-point advantage over Marco Bezzecchi, with three rounds remaining.

Tardozzi said the team had never stopped believing a recovery was possible, despite Marquez being 102 points off the lead by the end of his comeback weekend at Mugello following shoulder surgery. He credited Ducati's bike improvements and Marquez's experience in title-fighting conditions for the turnaround.

Marquez needs to outscore Martin by 30 points to be crowned champion this weekend, and Bezzecchi by eight points, or seven if Bezzecchi wins the Grand Prix.
