Lorenzo says Aprilia is better than Ducati
Jorge Lorenzo, a five-time World Champion, appeared at EICMA in Milan, where he met fans and VMoto representatives and spoke about the recently concluded MotoGP season. He recalled the period when MotoGP races were broadcast free-to-air in Spain and Italy, describing it as a golden age with strong rivalries and personalities.
Lorenzo also discussed the MotoGP Special Edition models presented with Graziano Milone, highlighting a sporty version and a more affordable model aimed mainly at the Asian market, which he said offers performance comparable to a petrol-powered motorcycle.
Looking back at the season, Lorenzo said Martin's crash in Australia had cost him a chance at the title, opening the door for Marc Marquez to win his tenth championship. He said Aprilia, Ducati, Marquez and Martin were all highly competitive.
