Norris wins Brazilian GP for McLaren after wet race
Lando Norris won the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo, his thirteenth career victory and his third of the season, with Max Verstappen finishing more than 14 seconds behind. The Briton took pole position but lost the lead to Kimi Antonelli at the start before regaining it after Antonelli spun at Turn 1.
Conditions at Interlagos changed constantly, and McLaren's switch to slick tyres helped Norris challenge for the lead. He managed his advantage through several pit stops as rain returned, staying composed as the track became more treacherous.
Norris said the result was a reward for a team that has been working hard through a difficult few months, and he expressed his thanks to them for their effort.
