Verstappen to start Brazilian GP from back after engine changes
Max Verstappen is set to start Formula 1's Brazilian Grand Prix from the back of the grid after Red Bull made engine component changes to his car.
Verstappen was third in the second practice session on Friday and third in the long-run averages, but he was vocal on the radio about engine and clutch issues. Red Bull's head of strategy Hannah Schmitz said the team was looking into several changes for his car, and Verstappen said he had steering issues that needed fixing before qualifying.
Red Bull was one of two teams, along with Aston Martin, to break the FIA curfew, the second of the four allowed occasions per season. Verstappen has won three of the last four races and moved into second in the drivers' championship after his Mexico victory last Sunday.
