Cairoli recalls growing up around Kimi Antonelli

Matteo Cairoli, who took three wins in his DTM debut season and finished fifth overall, has spoken about his connection to the family of Formula 1 world champion Andrea Kimi Antonelli. The link dates back to 2014, when Cairoli won his first title at the age of 17 in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia with Marco Antonelli's team.

At that time, Cairoli got to know Antonelli, who was then seven years old. Cairoli said he watched him grow up, and described how the young Antonelli spent time in the paddock with the team.
